San Jose Bans Marijuana Sales Ahead Of California’s Potential Legalization

With the 2016 election less than a week away and Californians set to vote on the increasingly polarizing Prop 64 measure, San Jose’s city council isn’t taking any chances. Reports the Bay Area’s ABC7:

The city council voted to keep recreational marijuana illegal in San Jose, even if it becomes legal in California. That means no commercial growing, transporting, or sales.

San Jose residents will be able to use recreational marijuana and grow up to six plants if Prop 64 passes — just not sell it.
